About the AT 75 Hour Introductory Certificate Program

This 75-hour Certificate Introductory program is designed to give you a comprehensive overview and introduction to the principles and experiences available through the Alexander Technique.  The program includes a balance of theory and practice allowing you to tailor your curriculum to your own interests and activities.  Parts of the program can be completed in online study.  It is a pay as you go program that can be completed in any time frame.

Throughout this program you will learn the basics of the Alexander Technique, begin to embody them, and learn how to apply these experiences to your daily and professional life. The AT can guide you to an understanding of how your mind and body are innately one recognizing that each thought we have arises from the body and each thought we have in turn is reflected in the body. .

This program is an excellent fit for students who want to take the next step in their AT learning in combination with or after private lessons.  The BAC strives to create a diverse and inclusive environment welcoming students from all backgrounds, abilities and disciplines.

This program is eligible to provide CTLE Credits to NY State teachers (Continuing Teacher & Leader Education).
