The BAC Teacher Training Program is a comprehensive 1600 hours of study that can be completed in a 3-5 year period. Directed by Ann Rodiger, this course provides individual attention, with the average student-teacher ratio of 5 students to 1 teacher. Graduating students from the Balance Arts Course are eligible for certification through The American Society of the Alexander Technique (AmSAT).
Becoming a teacher of the Alexander Technique allows you to dive deeper into the study of the Alexander Technique principles as they apply to yourself. Teaching allows you to assist others in improving their own use and in finding more skill and ease in whatever activity they choose to do.
The Balance Arts Teacher Training Program offers the highest standard of teacher training in the Alexander Technique. We offer seven in-person three-hour classes per week which allow students to pursue their careers and work during their training.
